Daily Faith Captures - Remaining Focused

Today I spent a few hours playing with the camera with the idea of creating some wall art for the living room. When I was setting up this shot it really didn't jump off the screen at me but when I got it on the computer it really got me to thinking about everything that is going on right now in my life. I have finally decided to take the plunge and go back to school, there are a lot of different reasons I am doing it but the biggest thing is to give myself the flexibility for the future as I honestly don't know what my future holds in my career. On another page today at church the message really got me to thinking about how to use my gifts to bring others closer to God, no real answer to those thoughts yet but I feel I am being drawn to challenge myself to show others Christ through my images. To think God reaches out through a Beer bottle to stimulate the thought process of reaching others through my hobby, maybe it's to use the addiction background to make people think of those hard subjects and really deal with them. This week my challenge is to reach out to the church and maybe some other organizations and see if there is something I can do with my gift to help them glorify God. • 07 Jun 2009 04:26 pm •
